we do have Mexican Coke, if that counts as something. Uses cane sugar and comes in 12oz glass bottles. Even Sprite and Fanta have their own Mexican imports as well. Some say it tastes no different from the HFCS Coke and it's all just placebo, but that's completely fucking wrong.

MexCoke is definitely way more on the smoother end, almost like Pepsi, and doesn't have a strong bite like the typical HFCS Coke we have here. Plus it doesn't make your teeth feel super gritty after one sip.

How much of a crossover? I'm saying I dunno about all soda drinkers being kids and landwhales because I'm not either and everyone else I know from work who gets soda from our office's vending machines are on the underweight side if anything.
I think there's probably a big crossover for *diet* soda and fat people. I don't see a lot of fat people with real soda though, I think because they're under the impression not drinking soda or using zero calorie soda is what'll make them un-fat themselves.

Also what you're saying doesn't even make much sense as an assumption since there isn't a whole lot of calories in a soda compared to the amount of calories obese people are necessarily consuming in order to continue being obese. A can of Coke is 150 calories.
A 300lb man would need to consume around 3,000 calories every day to maintain that weight. So 95% of their weight problem would be everything that isn't soda. The difference between a thin man and an obese man is a lot more than just a soda or two. So if there is a correlation between fat people and soda consumption, I doubt it's anywhere close to 100% and it clearly wouldn't be a causal relationship.
