You get really sweet and otherwise flavorless ribs/other pork if you're going to just crockpot them in coke. I would not recommend doing it.

if you're going to go the way of coca-colaing your pork, at least remember to season the coca-cola and put some other savory flavors in the coca-cola sauce. They'll still be way too sweet, but at least they won't be watery.

coca cola is often used in BBQ sauces.
you reduce it and it thickens the sauce and gives it a sweet taste. not sure how much is generally put, but my dad used to follow a recipe that used some and it was pretty great
