I've known just as many helpless men. One almost never eats meals on his own, usually just a bunch of a single ingredient with hot sauce, and sometimes nothing all day but cream and sugar from a company break room. All so he can sooner buy an expensive thing he doesn't use, for a fleeting high. I think he has early onset alzeimer's which is actually type 3 diabetes. There is often no logic to his actions and he's always misplacing and forgetting items, His skin looks much better any time he's been at a military thing, where meals are provided.

well, my wife is not a bad cook, she would just rather make something easy/quick/guaranteed to have leftovers than actually take time to make a well thought out meal. plus, her palate is garbage. so i took over the cooking because i actually enjoy it. i could have lived on the food she cooked, but my own is far better.
