Taurine we can synthesize, retinyl acetate/palmitate can be used by cats for vitamin A, K2 works fine for K, essential fatty acids you can get from algae. Might have to hydrolyze some of the vegan proteins to make them digestible.

You realize that the pet food manufacturing is connected to the human consumption meat production, right? Cat food and co is one of the sinks for the otherwise unsellable remains. After taking out everything the spoiled consumers are willing to pay for there is still pretty of animal left, those less beloved parts are then used for cat and dog food (among other things). There is literally no need for synthesizing anything as there is plenty of meat remains that you would otherwise not know what to do with it. Those are often the best parts too, like organs and hearts.
Doesn't matter how luxurious the cat food is presented on a plate in the commercial and if it's decorated with parsley, it still really just contains the meat that humans did not want anymore.
And humans you surely will not get to eating synthesized glop instead.

A lot of vegans I have met have absolutely ZERO knowledge about cycles and connections in farming and agriculture, so they come on with stupid shit like the 1:10 calorie nonsense in a way that the cattle burn our food because they eat things we could have consumed and then only produce one unit of meat for 10 units of food, as if we could eat most of the material they get (yummie, silage) and what really happens that via the route over animals we get usable high quality calories out of formerly indigestible material. Except that's not always the case not all land is equal for growing the same crops, hell the vegan argument that it's more efficient to grow produce crops with the land than raise cattle makes it seem like they know better than actual farmers on how to run their business. If it was more efficient to grow produce then that's what most farmers would in fact be doing since otherwise farmers tend to live in poverty 9 months out of the year they need the maximum efficiency of their land or they and their families tend to starve. Chances are more likely that the crop rotation for animal feed IS the most effective way to Max utilize the land they have. You claim that corn is a crop we grow for animals that humans can eat and that's partially true but corn is only a cash crop because of ethenol not the food industry, without subsidies that crop is a money pit that tends to suck nutrition right out of your soil. Which is another thing vegans tend to not consider, (which goes back to what the other anon said about not knowing jack shit about crop rotation (cycles and connections). The whole argument is reductionist of a complex topic. It's similar to saying we throw out enough food to end world hunger which isn't exactly wrong but the idea that we can end world hunger with waste food is if you put a few minutes or thought into it.
