How can I cheat to win an eating contest?


Next month my city is having a Jalapeno eating contest. I won first prize in 2017 but I did not even place in 2018.

In 2017 the jalapenos were mild so I could just swallow them whole. In 2018 they were hot and I could not handle the juices all in my mouth at once.

Is there anything I can take before the contest to numb my mouth and my tounge?

Even if you did grow turbo jalepenos, which I doubt without proof. it doesn't change the fact that most jalepenos just aren't that hot.

Kinda shitty to base an eating contest on something like that, contests in general are supposed to be universally fair and this definitely has some luck involved. Yes, there are oral versions. Teething gel for babies, pic related. They're commonly used for toothaches, pain from braces, etc. Pic related is one example, there are many others. Any pharmacy will have this.

Careful though, numb your mouth too much and you can easily bite your tongue by accident.
