Do you guys think ketchup is a crutch? That people rely on it so much that we forget how some things taste without it?

When I'm eating french fries such as the Five Guys Large Cajun Fries, I use plenty of ketchup (1/8th of a dipping cup per fry) in order to get as much salt into my body as possible, along with getting double/triple helpings of the free peanuts, additionally sucking on or eating the shells.

coincidentally enough, I ordered some fries at my college, and they ran out of ketchup. Ate my fries dry as a bone, and realized they really do need it. Same with the burger, no ketchup. Some things really aren't the same without it. Then again, I used to suck on ketchup packets.
