How do I eat healthy without lettuce and tomatoes? I hate them and cold, crunchy slimy shit.

>> No.12081112

Eat vegetables, they're better for you anyway since most people don't get enough. My simple vegetable side I make with dinners is just boiled for 4-7 minutes depending on what it is then tossed with a little butter, lemon juice, salt, and pepper.

No such thing as eating healthy. Just eat less and don't eat the same thing over and over again. Also, the closer it looks to being alive, the better it is for you.

If you're careful with the sodium, soup.

Why are you eating tomatoes? For vitamin C? For lycopene? More vitamin C in cooked bell peppers. More lycopene in tinned tomato products.

Make a chunky vegetable sauce of onions, carrots, peppers and tinned tomatoes. Add spices and herbs you like. Pour it over some steak and a baked sweet potato.

I don’t know how I feel about that dude. I used to listen to his podcast but after awhile I realized every episode is just a repeat.

That's because he has only one general thing to say: Eat ***whole*** plant foods.

veggies are really easy to incorporate, but i don't know what your definition of "healthy" is since that varies from person to person. oven veggies:
>honey glazed carrots
>maple bacon brussel sprouts
could even do asparagus, mushroom or zucchini.

steamed:
>broccoli
>sweet potato
>cauliflower
>sweet peas
>carrots

You don't have to force yourself to eat something you don't like. Just eat other fruits and vegetables.

That's not necessarily true. Fermented vegetables can be healthier in some ways, and cooked vegetables have different things that are more bioavailable. You should include different preparations in your diet though for balance.
