They were never opened. I looked in the freezer and noticed I had 2 unopened packs of bacon. (They come in 3 packs)

It is good to ask about these kind of things but generally meat can stay good int he freezer for a long time if it was never opened it is fine the worst thing you should have to worry about is freezer burn if it was improperly sealed. Enjoy your meal.

If from the freezer, no problem but let it thaw out and give it the smell test. If it smells fucked up then it is and you should toss it.

I'm actual industry and was going to post the exact same thing, and then looked at OP's image and said "nah", but then saw your comment and felt drunkenly compelled to reply. These basic bitch question threads are honestly some of the best on /ck/ because they get a bunch of people who actually know what they're talking about arguing over the basics. But yeah, you can freeze bacon for years; it's fine, but you should always smell anything that isn't fresh before you commit to cooking it. It's kind of common sense and a very minimal amount of experience, but you should be able to tell if something is off from it's smell (at least with things like meat and dairy). This doesn't really apply to bacon, but if a piece of meat just kind of smells off and is a little slimy, try rinsing it off and smelling it again.
