I picked up some riced cauliflower that was on sale for a buck. I'm not going keto or low carb or whatever, I've just heard a lot of talk about it and for that price decided why not. What's the best way to use it or your personal favorite? I'd intended to just have it plain with some salt and garlic alongside some chicken. Or is it better to mix things into it like with a pilaf?

I do keto so I've tried it and have never been able to mask its flavor. Shit is gross.

Your plan sounds good. Maybe add some margarine and pepper to it as well.

I wonder if you could dry it and grind it enough to make a powdery "flour" substitute. I've been watching some prison channels on the yoobie-toobie and they crush ramen noodles into flour to make burritos and pizza.

Ironically it sucks ass as a rice substitute but if done right, riced cauliflower works wonders being a filler in other dishes.

It's good with freshly grated Parmesan

Stir fry that shit with some butter or ghee. Throw in some garlic or onions or whatever else you got for flavour. It's pretty neat.

I have it with curry instead of normal rice. A little healthier.

I like the natural taste of it. Usually I put salt and butter on it, the taste reminds me of potato. I've tried that exact brand, I just microwave/stick in the oven for a bit, I expected it to come out soggy and wet, but it's nice and rice-like.

I honestly don’t know why this shit exists when it’s much cheaper to just buy a cauliflower and chuck it in a food processor for 10 seconds.

Just made a pizza crust with it today. Labor intensive kind of, but really low carb. 14 inch whole pizza Crust had approx 30 carbs, suprisenly very tasty.

lemon garlic tahini dressing (don't displace any tahini with worthless oil)

That's what I put on my daily pound of cruciferous vegetables.

I'd rather have a whole wheat crust and no cheese. That's why I'm 120 pounds and you're not.
