I have nothing against vegan burgers due to the fact how much the meat industry truly damages the world more and more as time passes

but I'm honestly holding out for lab grown meat
I love meat and if we have better technologies to have just cloned meat and completely fuck the meat industry then I'm completely down for it

How is a product that relies on a crop that destroys Rainforests and is pound for pound more environmentally damaging due to the absurdly high p r oduction and factory equipment required to turn out something that is worse for the body and at the same time supposed to emulate a product made from sustainable, biodegradable, and evolutionarily conscious food?

>Have to produce soy to feed animals costing money
>Have to pay for animals which costs money
Rather than
>Soy direct to the consumer
There's a reason corporations, especially bugman coastal bullshit corps, push for vegan/veg diets in the workplace. It's about minimizing costs, why have a full buffet of various porks and beefs when you can stock a fridge with soylent? It's about paying the absolute minimum for product while maintaining a constant profit stream. There's no need to pay MORE for meat when veg is far cheaper while still keeping people alive.
Stop over simplifying things you braindead mook.

>> No.12058539

Larger cost to the consumer with the same profit margin means more profit. How brain dead are you?
Not everything is a conspiracy to keep you weak you fucking idiot. Most companies offer to pay for a large percentage of the healthier options to incentivize eating healthier as an investment to the company.
You're either 14 or have never taken a business class.

Imagine being this pleb. You realise there are billions of people in india and china that are just completely destroying any tiny attempt you make at improving the envrionment. The earth is over populated, not eating meat isnt going to prevent our demise, its just going to slow it down by an equivalent milisecond.

Both those countries have less pollution per capita than most any western nation. So statistically, any 1 person in the US is destroying any tiny attempt that 40+ Indians/Chinese/other third worlders are making at "improving" the environment. The amount of energy that is wasted driving your car to the supermarket, buying a steak (and of course having that steak go from cow -> slaughtered meat -> market), cooking it, and disposing of the leftovers/plastics is probably more energy spent in a week for 5 third worlders put together.

Also the Earth is not overpopulated. I know 4chins doesn't stop people who took babby's into to geography but the carrying capacity of the Earth is significantly higher than 8 billion.

Well, your going to be dead in the cosmic blink of an eye, so why are you bothering to get up every morning? If you get old, your just going to have two or more decades of being some degree of sick and in pain, why not just kill yourself now? No more half measures...keeping yourself clean, eating regularly, maybe holding down a job, no more bullshit. Just take all your money, party hard til it runs out, and then stick a shotgun in your mouth. We're all dead anyway.
