It's called Sorbet correctly. "Sherbet" is for Amer*cans that have trouble pronouncing things like "Parmejohn" or "Car-mel" correctly

>>12027983
Sherbet and sorbet are two different things. Sherbet is dairy based while sorbet is dairy free.

It's "sor-bay" but if you call it that you'll sound like a faggot whose shit's all retarded. "Sher-bit" in regular society.

>The Difference Between Sorbet and Sherbet.
>The difference between these two types of frozen desserts is mainly how much dairy they contain. Sorbet contains no dairy whatsoever, while sherbet contains a little cream or milk to give it a richer, creamier texture.

This. Sorbet has no dairy at all, whereas sherbet has a bit of dairy but isn't primarily dairy-based.

It's okay the global language reform of 2021 will solve all these issues as it standardizes written and spoken language across the world.

Back in the 90s here in the UK, the ice cream truck would come by and have a thing called a 'Rainbow Fizz' which was soft serve ice cream with sauces and sherbert on top (fizzy sour powder) with bubble gum balls in the bottom as was the nicest shit ever however I have not seen or had this since the 90s.

So on my last trip to the US in 2015, went to an ice cream parlour at Disney World's Magic Kingdom and on the menu was 'Rainbow Sherbert' so thinking it was the same thing from my past I ordered it, was disappointed when it was just a bowl of fruit flavour ice cream. Still, it was very nice but sherbert in the UK is not the same thing as in the US. I believe you guys call it 'Pixie Stix' or whatever. Oh well.

My favorite sherbert. As for Sorbet, I guess my local grocery's store brand mango sorbet.

Hmm, that's odd. Around here, sherbet is a semi-soft paste made of shittons of sugar (and, more recently, corn starch) and fruit syrup.
