I've been lurking in ur /Deenz/ thread and I just bought some of these. How should I eat them. Did I buy a bad kind?

Those are pretty good. I prefer to get them packed in olive oil, then put the mustard on myself.

Sardines are gross and anyone who disagrees is an old man that thinks he is special.

King Oscar is good if they're a reasonable price. Personally I'm a Crown Prince man myself

Those are a good brand. Like others said you may want to try okive oil first since it’s not as strong. The oil sardines are also good to cook with. A good beginner deenz recipe is to pour the oil from the tin into a skillet, sautee some garlic in it then add the deenz to warm through. Delicious.

Those kind with mustard are best just eaten as is on top of a cracker.

You should have gotten two layer, but KO is a great brand so I'm sure those will be good too. Put them on crackers with a little dab of hot sauce.

I buy Sardines that are skinless and boneless as well as being in Olive Oil. I usually eat them on a bed of jasmine rice and I have a glass of TANG on the side.

I like those for adding to salads and the like, over rice would be good. For snacking or just with crackers or pretzels it's gotta be brisling for me though.

For those of you who eat deenz with hot sauce, what kind of hot sauce do you use? I've tried deenz with Cholula (p gud), Sriracha (not bad), Tapatio (v gud), and Marie Sharp's (vvv gud).

That sounds like an extremely high quality sandwich. I'm going to make one next time I get a fresh loaf of bread
