Whenever I travel to Europe (Barcelona, Munich, Paris...) I have noticed there is often a huge difference in how they eat at restaurants. They usually seem to spend several hours there and take very long between courses. Meanwhile in USA, they much more quickly bring out food, serve you drinks and you get out quicker.

Why do you think its so much faster in America? Do Americans just want to eat quicker? Difference in food prep?

dining out is not done frequently so people spend a bit more time to enjoy it, not that complicated. you also go out to enjoy the company of other people and not just to shove triple bacon cheeseburgers down your fat gullet.

Eurotards don't understand the idea of turning over tables to generate more revenue. That's why all their countries are poor.

Americans enjoy spending hours out on nights. They just dont like to spend it all at a restaurant. After eating for like an hour at a restaurant, they like going out to a bar or something. Who the fuck wants to just hang out in a restaurant all night?

That's because amerifats don't have food culture and don't really know that making food takes time as well as taking your time eating is good for your digestive system. Additionally it shows that lower class people don't have anything meaningful to discuss while eating in a civilized environment. That's the typical amerifat for you

That, and water.
It’s no secret that restaurants really make their money on drinks, and the Euros take this up a notch by charging for water, and they usually give you a little bottle that will barely fill more than one glass per person if there’s more than two people.
At least in my experience; every single restaurant I have been to in France and Germany did this. Maybe that’s just how it works in the touristy areas, but something tells me bits more widespread than that.

No its because I get off work at four, curtain for pagliacci is at 7, and I have to get home, clean up, get the wife moving, get downtown and park, and squeeze in a good meal with dessert and after meal coffee. If I sit around with my thumb up my ass at a restaurant, I won't catch Canio stab a bitch, which is the highlight of the evening.

Water can be for free in France, just ask for tap water and they will always happily serve it to you. It's extremely common.

US is more fast paced and corporate and business oriented culturally than Europe so in turn instead of someone going out for the whole evening to a restaraunt to spend time with friends and have some nice food in the US you get someone being served much quicker, consuming the food quicker with less time spent just talking with the people you went there and immediatly opening up the table for more revenue to come to the owner

That's because it's law, and I may be mistaken but I think that it's unique to France.
