ITT: Foods that look like shit but are delicious

SOS (shit/stew on a shingle) looks a lot like vomit, but it's a really great breakfast. Half a grapefruit to cut the richness and you're looking at a really great working class breakfast.

I grew up with my grandparents so I'm not old but I also eat a lot of old people foods because it's what was in the house. Some of the stuff is pretty alright, some was downright terrible. All those fuckin aspics.

I may be biased from eating so much SOS in the army, but that's a poor second to biscuits and gravy.

That sounds lovely. Perhaps brown it in the oven for a bit after putting on some cinnamon and a touch of brown sugar

No, it's that indian food is shit and it carries the stench of indians. As you grow a little older in life you'll learn to have some taste based on experience. You'll learn some day little boi and you'll remember that advise that I just gave you.

Bubble & Squeak. But you'll only find professional looking shots.

Bubble & Squeak, for me when growing up, was the leftovers of a Sunday Roast. That meant potatoes, greens, sprouts, swede, carrots, parsnips and any tiny remnants of chicken or stuffing left over.

Heat up some oil in a pan and tip all the leftovers in. Fry it up good, season well. Add some stock. Serve it up with some bread and butter.
