I'm sorry, bros, I can't give it up. No "authentic" salsa can compare.

I've tried several salsa recipes and they've all been underwhelming. I use canned tomatoes, onion, garlic and cilantro. have tried simmered and raw versions. Anyone got any recs for a good basic salsa formula?

Raw fresh vegs, not canned tomatoes. Roast them first before blending. You're also missing peppers.

I meant to include peppers. The fresh tomatoes available where I am are terrible, I assumed canned whole would be better. Any tips other than roasting?

marias salsa company in los angeles. get it at Winco. fresh, refridgerated, authentic super hot salsa. pace is fine, but its just one type of salsa, good for chips but not as a cooking ingredient or condiment.

You are correct that no authentic salsa compares to that slop. Good thing, too.

Pace sucks dick, I mean it sucks as a salsa. Plus it has a stupid small opening so I can't fit a chip inside to get a small amount, that's just plain annoying.
That's 2 strikes against it, the third strike are the annoying commercials that they push which I always turn off when I can.
The old American saying, three strikes and you're out bub.

There's a small opening to prevent savages from eating directly from the jar. It's forcing you in to the harsh sunlight of using a goddamn bowl like a civilized person.
