I would eat chicken thighs more often but whenever I buy the boneless and skinless, I always get some bone shard or something hard in the chicken and I bite into it when I'm eating and it ruins the entire meal. I have to spit out the tainted food and I immediately lose my appetite for the rest of it. This has happened twice in a row now. Not sure if it's boneless skinless thighs in general or the grocery store I am going to.

There were a lot of things I had to unlearn from growing up about food. My parents did the best they could and cooked a few things well but they didn’t know a lot about food. Things like underseasoning and overcooking meat in general, using margarine instead of butter etc. one of them was definitely leading me to believe boneless skinless cuts like chicken breast was the most desirable. They ain't got much meat, but they're cheap as fuck.

I buy an 8 pack for 3 or 4 dollars, boil them for 20 or 30 minutes, de-skin them, and pick the meat off the bones. I make pulled chicken with the meat and broth with the bones.

It's crazy efficient and I get some dank meals out of it.
