Anyone else fucking hate sweet potatoes? Particularly the insistence by (mostly female) chefs who seem to think it can invariably used as a substitute for regular potato. It fucking can't. The next time someone tries to serve me sweet potato mash or sweet potato fries I'm going to start screaming.

I like them and im white. they're easier to grow, easier than potatoes, and unlike potatoes where you need a bunch of seed potatoes you can use a few sweet potatoes and keep harvesting slips off them until you get your desired quantity.

Nah I grew up with regular potatoes and sweet potatoes make me legitimately mad. The one and only time I've ordered a side of sweet potato fries to go with my burger I got sad for not ordering regular fries.
