Is it just me or are a lot of game meats overrated for the price? Just tried gator and it was very gummy.

Swede here. I buy reindeer meat just about every week. It's the best. Try it if you ever get the chance.

Yeah I’ll be honest I just eat chicken, pork beef on rotation. Turkey maybe twice a year but it’s not my favorite

Shrimp, bronzini , salmon, crabs ( usually in crab cake form or sandwich form) or scallops are my usual seafood.

I don’t see any reason to eat dry gamey meats. Or offal for that matter.

I think there's a lot of game meats that are serviceable but overpriced simply because they aren't as common. If there was a lot of efficient gator farms shipping out gator meat all the time it'd be a lot cheaper, but no one wants it so it doesn't get set up.

obviously some people do really like it
