buisness idea: garlic bread. but instead of a slice of bread, its a muffin. a very thicc, very garlic muffin.

>> No.11880442

You might get better results having fresh garlic bits baked into the bread or roasting some while garlic bulbs and spreading the roasted garlic out of the cloves.
Either way it sounds comfy desu

Ok I'm a wee bit confused as I'm a bong.
By a muffin do you mean a big old bap/ stottie like this?

>> No.11880492

They are about 30cm wide/ 12 inches

I can see it
a savory muffin with garlic, some nice herbs, maybe a bit of pork added in

>> No.11880507

I'm feeling more a strong cheddar and herbs, with roast or pulled pork as the filler :^)

no, like pic related, silly bong.
like this, but instead of blueberry, it's garlic bread in muffin form.

>> No.11880575

Ahh ok, such is the language difference :^)
With that sort of muffin I'd saute' garlic bits first then add them and herbs into the muffin mixture before baking

I haven't tried what op is describibg but ive made dinner rolls with herbs and blackened garlic mixed in the dough. The old school way to roast garlic is to wrap up a whole head in foil and bake it forever. You can just put unpeeled cloves into a very hot cast iron pan though until they turnblack and the insides get gooey. Much faster/easier and very delicious.

Anon knows whats up!
I do the same and spread the roast "garlic goo" on potatoes or bread, tastes awesome.

best part of garlic bread is the crunchy brown crust, you aren't gonna get that with a muffin.

>> No.11880651

>>11880612
gotta be baked into the muffin
or bagel
fuck why does a slice of bread have the monopoly on garlic? there's so many more baked good shapes

what if, the muffin was crunchy on the outside, soft on the inside

This would be acceptable, but I still dont think it can achieve peak crispness like in pic related. Still not a bad idea though.
