I can't see any char on the chicken
Chicken Tikka Masala is supposed to be first marinaded in yogourt and spices then cooked extremely hot in a tandoori so it gets the smokey flavour, you can approximate it by roasting at highest temperature or grilling at highest temperature.
But if you just saute or cook the chicken straight in the sauce, and you don't marinade, it's not chicken tikka masala. It's just some kind of chicken curry, which is fine, but try and find an indian restaurant that uses a tandoor one day and taste the real thing for yourself.
