How to cut spending on food? I spend $400 a month on food for 2 people and ideally I'd want it closer to 200-250 a month. No OMAD shit, I work manual labor so lunch and a bit of snacks are a must. I'd prefer a meat dinner everyday.

stretch that meat with some beans and lentils, maybe even tofu every now and then. Chili, soups, dals; many of these recipes were based on cheap stuff, but can still be delicious. For snacks I's say hard boiled eggs and veggies, with some nuts and meat/cheese/jerky thrown in there, but that's the more pricey stuff.

if you wan't to eat say a lb of meat everyday for dinner and spend less than 400 for 2 people, you're gunna have to eat a lot of chicken and pork. You can get low quality ground beef (73/27) on sale for 2bucks a lb.
