In some places, there are horrendous food joints who can stay in business with the 1 time customer or the people who 1 time buy the novelty item. Tourists, people in transit, and low skilled people who don't use apps to find good food. Location, location, location is their solution. Often, though, there are crap menu items, but the majority of their ethnic business ordering off the traditional menu is the reason they stay afloat. Imagine if you were to judge a delicious Indian restaurant on the kid's menu chicken nuggets? It's the same thing if you're ordered bad pizza at a kebob store. They make more than enough money doing other items good enough.

That said, absolutely refuse to eat anywhere sub-par ever again, and if it's a real idiot owning the place, they'll deserve to go under. If there is a temporarily bad staffer, report to owner, don't blacklist them on social media, but do feel free to email the owner and take care of it that way.

Good places, in similar logic, should be supported. Agree to wait longer at busier nicer choices just because you support them. Call ahead for takeout, don't get pissed at the glorious good parts of being a growing or busy restaurant.

This is because career fairs, and entrepreneurial workshops, in Bangladesh exist to market and sell exactly those specific franchises as golden ticket-visa plus income all-in-one businesses. 7-11 does it. Subway does it. Whatever it takes! Often the men will be working the food business, and wives are in college getting solid career training like degrees for pharmacy. Cheap people would do a few things wrong with it, actually. Good cheese, good olive oil, ripe/flavorful tomatoes are the first price point to get through. Dough proofed slowly has more flavor. Dough cooked in a coal fired, or brick oven, or at the right temp...it all matters. Even the water used with the flour matters (to some people). Margherita is actually the one to get if you know they can do it right. Fresh basil is also paramount, that combination of green rawness with the anise-y fragrance. So good :)
