Paulaner, Weihenstephan, Or Hacker Pschorr are all good (german purity beers). Just get a lager, pilsner, or hefeweizen.

If you can't find those I would settle for a brooklyn lager or something.

You could also do a six pack of some domestics and a six pack of imports. You can get that for about under $20 and you can decide what you like the most.
