Mac and Cheese takes like 30-45 mins to make yourself at the worst. You telling me you don't have 45 minutes to make dinner?

This is the same thing as the "Deluxe" packages they offer nowadays, except those don't have the breadcrumbs that come with them. Just buy one of those and add the crumbs yourself.

I dont get how that's different. Companies always change the packaging, naming, and product sizes just to say NEW! Introducing! The same old shit!
Took this picture today for a different reason, but there it is, still there. Don't cry, busy child.

cook cream and butter in a sauce pan. add cooked pasta when the cream is very hot and boiling. mix until pasta is hot and then add shredded cheddar. this is a home style mac and cheese. u can also sautee some garlic first in the butter if u like garlic. chicken base will also improve flavor.

CH here.
Americans just make the roux but not the béchamel or did you leave that step out accidentally?

Swiss mac and cheese:

>half boil mac; meanwhile, make béchamel
>drain mac and toss with lots and lots and lots of grated cheeses in a baking dish
>top with dat oniony milk sauce
>stir
>top with more cheese
>bake
wa la

Most Swiss also add potato to the mac, but my family never do. Ham or bacon sometimes, but not potato.
