We usually just fry it with tons of onions and eat like that. However I was never able to eat it, it literally gives me a gag reflex, Idk why. Is there a way to prepare it so that it won't?

Why would you want to eat something that filters all the toxins out of what the cow ate?

>> No.11822993

It clearly says pig liver

Chop it up and add it to a tomato based pasta sauce. I did that to get a mate who wanted to try and get used to liver to come around to liking it.

If you don't appreciate it because the taste is too strong try chicken liver first, it's a lot milder.

and a damn good job at filtering it does. Note that none of the toxins are actually STORED in the liver

Youre thinking of the kidneys. The liver does conversion between protein, glucose, fat, a d ketones which requires a fuckton of minerals and vitamins, hence >>11822998

Look in a mirror.

The liver's job is to secrete enzymes which break down toxins. It doesn't store them.

Are you going to conveniently ignore the lead, cadmium, and arsenic from a single serving?

You think the lead, cadmium, and arsenic from a single serving is significant or appreciable?

Yes. It already puts you over the recommended daily intake depending on your physiology. But by all means give Alzheimers a nice head start

>> No.11825131

>>11825107
Alzheimers is caused by a bacteria which causes gum disease, it's a non-concern.

I have my bloodwork done regularly for an unrelated medical condition and I don't have any problems with heavy metals despite eating liver in one sort or another every couple weeks.

I'd say your fearmongering is all in your head.

lol someone skimmed through the weekly current events, try not being a disingenuous pretentious dumbass who couldnt even be pissed to see the direct non established causal link

>have my bloodwork done regularly for an unrelated medical condition and I don't have any problems with heavy metals despite eating liver in one sort or another every couple weeks.
Cool, is everyone one the Earth exactly like you? Do you know bloodwork encompasses dozens upon dozens of different things?

>I'd say your fearmongering is all in your head.
I’d say your retardation is literally in your head as a result of heavy consumption and biomagnification

>Cool, is everyone one the Earth exactly like you?
Nope. But we're not talking about everyone on earth.

>>I’d say your retardation is literally in your head as a result of heavy consumption and biomagnification
I guess you missed the part where I don't have any kind of heavy metal buildup in my body?

Carry on being fearful of things which aren't dangerous, anon. I'm sure it will serve you well in life. It's done wonders for your chastity.

Oh so your singular “bloodwork” speaks for everyone therefore making everyone, you?

>I guess you missed the part where I don't have any kind of heavy metal buildup in my body?
I guesses you missed the part where I called your vague anecdote completely fucking irrelevant and blatantly false. o

Do you have anything to add other than grandstanding your herpes tests? No? Cool.

Don't overcook it. What kind of liver though? Chicken liver is pretty good.

>It already puts you over the recommended daily intake depending on your physiology

>During the period 1984-88 several hundred samples of meat, liver and kidney from Swedish pigs and cattle were analysed for lead, cadmium, arsenic and mercury
>Lead: 19 μg/kg
>Cadmium: 19 μg/kg
>Arsenic: 23 μg/kg
>Mercury: 15 μg/kg

>The WHO
>Tolerable weekly intakes for heavy metals, per kilo of bodyweight:
>Lead: 25 μg/kg
>Cadmium: 2.5 μg/kg
>Arsenic: 15 μg/kg
>Mercury:4 μg/kg

So a 60kg cu/ck/ can still eat over a kilo of liver, every day without breaking the tolerable weekly intake for cadmium (150 μg per week, 21 μg per day)

Of course, don't feed it to your children, as there is no tolerable weekly intake for most of these for children, since they increase the risk of developmental disorders at any detectable intake. Special mention for lead, which also directly result in a lower IQ.
