This was the best thing of KFC. Petriod.

Back when I was a kid, I was a big fucking fan of KFC. The old KFC (kids'?) meal where each part went into a different part of a box thing was amazing. We didn't go often, though. I've been there maybe three times since 2015, and each time they were fucking awful. Like holy shit, how do they stay in business? These were all in different parts of the country.

I had the luck to be down south for a bit recently, and hit up Bojangles. Now that was some good chicken and biscuits.

Ive been wondering for years how KFC stays in business. Even in affluent areas where i live, no one goes to them yet they remain. Hipster coffee shops struggle to stay in business, yet greasy shit KFC stands strong.

I agree but I don't think that has to do with why KFC is shit in America.
Americans for the most part are bland, boring people who hate change. KFC has been serving the same damn shitty ass chicken and sides for decades and the one time they introduce a new item (the double down) people lose their fucking shit.
Taco bell is really the only place that can do crazy shit because a majority of their patrons are stoners and teenagers.

The pepper mayo was the best

In the US it has been replaced with an inferior sandwich, the "chicken little", it has pickles and generic mayo and a non seeded bun, it's inferior to the Snacker
