>bad
not really, just not nutritious at all.

I believe that the biggest issue is the “empty calories” aspect.

I just think wheat has been farmed and probably modified/selected so much to meet the demand and cheap they're just not as nutricious anymore. I dont know if they add Niacin and other stuff in flour thesedays to cope with the nutritional loss or some other reason.

Also bread is completely different to bread now, the cooking methods and tools are different and are all completely mass manifactured, a loaf of bread that takes atleast like 6 hours or 8 is made in like an hour.

Bread is a great source of energy and you get stuff preety good but i'd rather not eat it or stay away from eating carbs too much as i'm just a couch potato and dont want to eat excess energy/calories.

Watched this video yesterday and theres a comparison of "whole wheat" bread one of them is literally white, it's just confusing:

It's no worse than eating a few tablespoons of sugar in the morning.

Seems a little plain, but it won't kill you. You should try some jam or jelly

Wonderbread is better for you than almost anything produced by nature

Life is short. Eat the damn bread. Drink the wine. Smoke the weed. Enjoy your brief blip on this earth and do what makes you happy.

Hence the phrase, "It's to die for".

It's because you take too much of it.
