Agreed, I had the same thought after I tried them. A good balance of cheese flavor and heat, as opposed to the spicy nachos which taste too close to regular nacho cheese.

I got a bag and ate it. It wasn't worth the staining. The spicy ones with the lime, that's where it's at. Or takis. Or the sweet chili one or even bbq. Shit, the bbq doritos are surprisingly good

really doritos are just a reason for me to eat a whole thing of sour cream

but the flamin hot just doesn't shock the senses enough like flamin hot is supposed to, you're better off with flamin hot cheetos

There's tons off off brands that straight jacked that recipe and taste just like them for much cheaper.
Also Keystone Snacks used to make one called Hot Jalapeno that were actually hot. I miss those.
