Kind of like pork; sweet, savoury, meaty. But also less acidic and more starchy because of the grain element. Sometimes burnt, because it's very hard to tell if black pudding is burning or not just from the colour, but it's not supposed to be.

It's delicious, I assume the people saying it is shit are either pleb Americans or ate it improperly cooked.

It's slightly spicy, crunchy when you first bite and takes on a smooth texture when you're eating it. It compliments everything else on the plate and you should eat it together.
