"Break the pasta so it fits" is irrelevant when the spaghetti will curve due to boiling liquid, there is nothing stopping it fitting as it's original length

Spaghetti is very starchy anyway, it's better to cook it in excess boiling water and then add it to a dish Al dente in most cases

FYI I've cooked in smaller pots than that in the Boy Scouts, camp cooking imposes limitations that kitchen cooks don't have to deal with. If you want to eat spaghetti noodles you either bring an RV or you break them so they fit in a small pot.

One other factor no one has mentioned is the size of the tool. 3d was using a full sized axe one handed for splitting kindling, which it wasn't designed for, and was apparently also rushing the task. Rin shouldn't even need to hold her wood up because the froe is light and easy enough to control that it should be easy to get a good strike on her wood.

You LARPing retards trying to justify shit you have no experience with. If you watch the video you can see how little force she used. The blade just tapped her hand and she has a severe cut. The same severe cut would happen if she bumped her hand into a stationary blade. Cut resistant gloves can help with bump cuts like this, but don't stop any puncture or stabbing cuts. In addition, if there is any moderate force involved that glove will offer almost no protection, to the point you may just be severely cut instead of totally chopping off a finger.

I've batonny-chop-chopped plenty of wood for shits and giggles and split firewood with a proper maul, though I mainly use a hydraulic log splitter for that nowadays.

What I've learned through experience, and a few stitches, is that axes behave very differently from froes and knives. An axe is extremely top heavy and the torque between the edge and the handle is much larger than with a knife or froe. This makes axes much more unwieldy if used in the depicted manner.

A light tap from a froe will also not cut through a cut-resistant glove. Stop clutching your pearls.
