Would you try to gather food spilled on an interstate?

>After an 18-wheeler crashed, a bunch of chicken flew off the truck and made quite a scene. And yes, motorists made the traffic even worse after trying to gather some of the chicken to take home.

>But that’s not the worst of it — people were still grabbing the free chicken after it had been out for a long time. So not only was it road chicken, but it was road chicken that had been outdoors for hours, exposed to the element

>According to s0y ummy the tendies were still in the packaging

Literal free tendies + free/fast cleanup, what is the issue. Just let people clean it up and make sure the chicken doesnt get wasted, fucking s0yboys wont eat ""road chicken"" but will suck down gallons of gutter oil fast food without question.

I will never understand this retarded obsession most people have with not "wasting" food. Food is some of the cheapest shit you will ever spend money on, you can "waste" it all fucking day. It's not like either your bank account or the global food supply is going to vanish because you threw out the last bit of your dinner instead of storing it in plastic and forcing yourself to reheat and consume it a day or two later. If I were to ever spill food or drinks on the ground I would maybe feel a little annoyed for about two seconds followed by moving on and eating something else. If you can't comfortably support a wide margin of error for food cost that means you were already fucking up long before the accidental food spill happened.

if its just one person then its totally fine. nothing will happen. if millions if not billions of think that "if its just one person then its totally fine. nothing will happen" and actually waste the food, then its a problem.
