One week int veganuary and I'm hungry all the time. I've been eating beans and lentils for protein, and going full Marco Pierre White when drenching everything I eat in olive oil.

Why is this so hard?

It’s an adjustment! You are healing yourself anon, good for you.

just remind yourself that you are suffering for the good of the world, anon. also that you are morally superior to the lesser beings. also that those screams you are hearing are absolutely not the death screams of all the helpless innocent plants whose lives you are cruelly cutting short.

stop eating fat, replace with starch, like wholesome bread, potato, beans, oatmeal, or pasta.

I'm like three months in. It be like that sometimes for the first month. Try whole grains and complex carbs, but your body will eventually adapt. You are too used to stuffing large amounts of indigestible shit down your throat. It will get better with time. Never mind the carcas eating cuks.

Try using one of those food tracker apps, you're probably not getting enough calories. Aside from grains and starches, vegan food is less calorie dense so generally you have to eat more after making the switch.

Either you are a short time vegan (and still healthy) one or two years of veganism won't hurt you.

Or you are a long term vegan and you see this in the mirror.
