I only ever see lamb for sale, never mutton. I want to try mutton for once. Otherwise lamb is good eating in its own right.

I like chicken and mutton. Can never find mutton anymore though so I just eat chicken. Lamb is like mutton lite soo it just disappoints me.

Lamb is rated exactly where it should be.
Lamb is a fatty meat all over and hence can't compete with prime beef cuts.

Fucking this. At least four generations have been brainwashed into preferring lean meats and adding too much salt, sugar, and spice.

no you idiot, I've been eating lamb all my life.
The taste of fat in lamb is persistent and inescapable, hence why a lot of people can't stand it. Beef is neutral in that regard.

It really depends on the season, at least where I live.
So much mutton is passed of as lamb and it's shit.
A few months after lambing season is the the best time to eat lamb, who'd have thought?
I'd rate it equal with beef.

Wild boar. No joke, some of the cuts can be tough and gamey, but the prime stuff is absolutely tender and amazing tasting on its own merits. Good venison and rabbit is also highly underrated.

Also really enjoy most of the sea crustaceans like shrimp, lobster, crab, etc.
