The American classic is also popular in the UK and Australia, but I wonder how some more exotic groups view this humble favorite food

The difference is that grilled cheese is considered children's food in the US.

No it isn't. I can't even imagine someone being retarded enough to feel superior about what food they eat. Are you the Manchild final boss?

Defending what idiot? There's an IP count, you know. All I did was call out an anon on a further retarded statement after claiming that anyone but children eat grilled cheese sandwiches in the States.

>Pasta and cheese casseroles have been recorded as early as the 14th century in the Italian cookbook, Liber de Coquina, one of the oldest medieval cookbooks, which featured a dish of parmesan and pasta.
>A cheese and pasta casserole known as makerouns was recorded in the famous medieval English cookbook, the Forme of Cury, which was also written in the 14th century.
>It was made with fresh, hand-cut pasta which was sandwiched between a mixture of melted butter and cheese.
Imagine taking credit for food that was made hundreds of years before your degenerate race even existed

The kids menu at my work is literally

Grilled cheese and apple slices
Chicken nuggets and apple slices
Mac and cheese and apple slices.

Fine dining joint too. I have to whip up ranch dressing from scratch on the spot if some brat wants it.

Partly agree, cheese on toast is melted cheese on one slice of toast, two slices would be a toasted cheese sandwich and Mac and cheese is macaroni cheese in the UK and empire, at least for now whilst the Americanization (dumbing down)of the UK slowly continues.

Actually faggots were a treat when I was growing-up, with chips (french fries) and peas. Bit like Haggis, which is Scottish. British cuisine went through a decline for a while when everything was seemingly, boiled to death, but now it's regained its place at the top table. Tourists who complain about our cooking probably based that on the fast food, made for tourists, so won't taste nice.
