How the fuck do you guys keep up with dishes?

I'm going all paper plate now days almost

>> No.11689712

Do it while stuff cooks is the usual advice but judging from your pic you don't cook much, so kill yourself.

>> No.11689738

Bud I eat three meals a day and snacks in between when I'm at home and I still have no dishes in the sink at the end of the night. If you're too dumb to let them soak and then clean them before you start your next meal then maybe this living on your own thing isn't for you.

I would do that but usually there's moldy food and I don't wanna lick spores and shit up into the air around my good food

I use one plate, one bowl, two cups and one of each silverware. They stay in the sink and get a rinse before each use, except the water cup that just stays in use and gets cleaned when it looks foggy.

I try to do them right after I finish eating.
I live alone though.

I use a dishwasher.
I also have a cleaning lady.

Come on, guys. Five minutes to throw out the trash and at least move the dishes to the sink and get them soaking.
Don't live like this. You deserve better.

Why all the glasses? Did 8 different people drink or was that you taking a new glass every few hours?

(Pro tip, keep the glass you’ Using for the day in the fridge).

Clean them as you go, Anon. If you're cooking and you have food in the pan or in the oven, do some of the dishes you made while you wait.

>>11689742
Open your window and clean your room tonight. Fresh start tomorrow, so get your shit together and start with a clean room.

when you'r ripping thick bong loads, there is no doing dishes.
you really should do what anon above said. put your dishes inside a box and don't get into them or just give them away. one plate for each person in your home and so on. and get paper plates.
I know when I have bud, I like to smoke within 10 minutes of waking, but it might be the only time for you to clean up a bit.
for me, what I do is. I don't use soap. If you think it needs soap, then let it soak in warm water for 10-30 minutes. wash dishes with a rag and warm running water. that soaking time is the perfect time to toke and find some killer tunes to listen to for the 10-20 minutes of washing dishes
don't buy Styrofoam plates or you'll be scum. now pass that bong

If you're not going to wash them as you use them don't stack them in the sink unless you're actually going to wash them right then. A sink full of dirty dishes is just gross and makes tackling them much more daunting.

>> No.11690748

>>11689753
nice
this is what I do, but they get washed in the sink immediately after each use. Minimalism and dedication to completing minor inconveniences for success in avoiding larger ones is the ticket.
I also wash pots and pans before I eat the food, whenever possible.

Holy shit stoners are the worst. Look at all the junk food wrappers and empty bottles, the duvet with no cover, no wall hangings or anything. Good job you manbaby you've successfully turned your brain to mush

Wash your dishes after you use them so there isn't a chance for them to pile up. If you're cooking, wash the dishes as you get done using them. Like wash the measuring cup after your done with it, for example.

>cook/eat
>spend 5 the 3 minutes it takes to throw everything in the dishwasher
>put in soap and start dishwasher

Is it really that hard for people to not be slobs? I'm assuming you all have dishwashers if you aren't in third world countries, they are cheap and small enough to fit in even tiny kitchens.

Most of the time I do dishes while I cook. E.g. waiting for the pan to heat up? Wash a plate. Waiting for the chicken to sear? Wash a saucepan. Etc.

If I have a lot of dishes from cooking something elaborate I just use the dishwasher.

>> No.11692566

Uh just do them lol.
Seriously you can't expect to make good without having to wash dishes afterwards. Once you accept it as an unavoidable cost then it's really not that bad. Being a grown up is hard some times.

ten glasses, ten plates in that picture alone. There is your problem. I own one bowl, one plate, basically one of everything. And I wash them in the bathtub with me. If they truly need it, which is rare.

Dishwasher. One time per week. I use enough pots, pans, and dishes to last a week.

It doesn't even look like you cook, it looks like you make a sandwich, "dirty it" (somehow), then can't even manage to scrub away one spot of food. Dishes are a part of cooking, just do them while your food is cooking or right after it's done cooking or you are done eating. No buildup. No problem.
