In case anyone was wondering; they're sedated with an atmosphere of carbondioxide and then have their throats cut. They don't feel a thing. Unlike most actual humans who die slowly and painfully in hospital.
I'd pay to have a death as easy as those porkers.

Carbondioxide is the most practical for factories, it is heavier than air, cost almost nothing, and is not a fire-risk.
Nitrous oxide and Helium is better for hospitals because the terminal patient becomes unconscious without ever feeling asphyxiated.
