I grew up there. You want:
Tasty kake treats (especially pic related), a decent crab cake somewhere, Utz chips, Bergers cookies, and a good pit beef sandwich (roadside places are best).
Anything else you can get elsewhere.

It's worth it except for all the mexicans, the fact that I'll never own a home, liberals, and homeless. I really miss winter, though.

you basically described the entire state at this point. can't speak for the eastern shore though. it's tragic what is happening to this once proud state.

Herr's can fuck off, they're shit. If you're not from Maryland and want a taste of Md UTZ are THE chips to get. Who cares where they'er made, they're only sold in a few states, Md being one of them.

Op does, he said food from maryland and utz is not from maryland.

What are you doing to do next? Tell op to drink natty boh? That shit is brewed in North Carolina and owned by pabst. It's as fraudlent maryland product as you can get.

ok if we're going by the literal interpretation of "food FROM Md" you're right, but I was just talking about Md food in general, wasn't taking it that literally, and stand by my recommendations, Herr's suck.

Not from MD but can and should get: Yuengling

Other anons have said old bay, and I would also say that. I've mailed old bay to friends as far flung as Sweden, it's something special, and weirdly good. Smith Island cakes if you can find them, boardwalk fries but it's not a great time of year for them, other than that just check out normal restaurants. the seafood IS good in MD, but you can also look into the BBQ and deli scenes. Go to a Sheetz or Wawa and go to town.

>> No.11659823

I meant that Yuengling isn't a MD thing. I've lived in this shithole my entire life. FUCK NIGGERS AND FUCK JANNIES!!! Peacing the fuck out to WV as soon as I can secure an IT job that will let me work from a home office, fuck all yall.

Honestly a non-flamewar answer is to come down to pg county. Maryland is blessed to have people from all over the world living in PG county. And there are tons of restaurants started by those immigrants in which you can find the best ethnic food around, imo.

Everything from authentic Jamaican jerk chicken, pupusas, Korean bbq, ethiopian, indian...seriously some of the best food in maryland is from somewhere else.
