>flour and blood powder paste, fucking plain boiled potatoes and cucumber slices

do scandis actually eat like this?

>> No.11630810

It’s kind of an old traditional food here, the blood pudding.
It’s pretty common, but most people i know just dislike it.

Never seen anything like it.

Remove the potatoes and cucumbers so it's just a sweet blood pudding with jam, well, I've never seen that either but that wouldn't surprise me.

Take it one step further, replace the jam with syrup, now I guarantee Scandis definitely eat like this.

(Savory blood pudding suitable for a main meal is more of a British thing? All Scandi blood sausage I've ever had was sweet/cinnamony.)

Scandi here. Only old people eat this. But we often eat just regular boiled potatoes

no offense, but what do you get out of being on a cooking board? i mean, i get being a poorfag, but even at my poorest as a student, i wouldn't eat a plain boiled potato. if i had potatoes i'd stick them in the oven with some oil and salt (and seasonings). if i had rice, i'd do the same. if i had just beans or lentils, i'd make soup with just that and whatever seasonings i had at the cupboard.
what i mean is, i'd still take the time to make something i enjoy eating and not just try to get my daily dose of calories from somewhere. and you say you often eat plain boiled potatoes. doesn't seem like someone who doesn't care about flavor that much would be interested in cooking.

sorry if by "we" you meant scandis in general and not yourself or if you're a chef or something and you're too tired to cook for yourself.

Remove the potatoes and cucumber then add bacon. You can replace the potatoes with hashbrowns if you want to.

Yes, It's pretty tasty, though shredded carrots are more common on the side than cucumber. I think it's popular among people that needs more iron in their diet.
