That pecan looks like ground beef, it’s all gray and nasty. Maybe they cooked them too hot on the pumpkin, it is a custard after all. That berry one looks alright, but could’ve used an egg wash or cream to get some better browning on top. Also some better crimping could go a long way.

some do, most just skip that part and buy frozen pies instead to go along with their heat and eat holiday dinner boxes they buy from the store or some restaurant. nothing says love and family like standing around the microwave heating up bags of potatoes, green beans, stuffing, and only putting the meat in the oven because there's no other choice.
