True. One year years ago my mom wanted to get me something food-related because she knew I liked cooking and decided to get me knives. Luckily she consulted my brother who told her I would much rather have one semi nice chefs knife than a block of shitty knives for the same price. She got me my first decent knife but couldn't understand why someone would want one knife instead of a set. She also got me a garlic press a couple years ago which I personally think are kind of retarded. Love u mum.
