Let me guess. Hungry Howies is a flyover chain where there isn't a single Italian American in sight.

I live in an area with a lot of Italian-Americans and Italian-American restaurants, and there's still a Hungry Howie's near me.

When I worked at dominos there was this dick who would order wings, or kickers, and a can of ice tea two times a week, Tuesdays and fridays. Delivery charge back then was like 1.75, so he always reached minimum, and he knew the system, extra sauce was free and it came with a dip.

Thing was he never tipped, and he lived pretty much on the cut off line. We all thought he was playing us. I'll never forget him.

He did everything correctly then.

That's not a calzone, that's a sub. Look on their menu
they're hungry howies pizza and subs
protip: best sub is buffalo chicken, but taco is good once in a while

I had a calzone recently. It was made by my students at an agricultural school.
It was good, if a bit different from an American calzone. Chicken and mozzarella, with the sauce inside.
And the pumpkin pudding dessert was excellent too.

Tell them they need to either deep fry it or brush some oil on it half way through cooking. Seems decent tho.

According to wikipedia they are known for their calzone-style subs. That might be one of them. Not surprising Midwestern flyovers would create such a culinary abortion.

If you ever get to visit Chicago, our the west side is one of the biggest calzones you could ever eat at Albanos Pizza. Is so fatteningly large I only get it on my Bday

I'm not following... Was there a cutoff point you had to reach before you were charged $1.75?

>> No.11567693

calzone should have a mixture of various cheeses and that is all!
maybe I will also accept the occasional pepperoni but that's as far as I'm willing to go

There's a minimum payment for delivery. The can of ice tea and delivery changed got him just above the minimum payment.

The cut off line was where we could deliver too before we breached into another stores delivery zone.
