Mexican is the superior cuisine
T. Gringo who hasn't been to either country

Living in 'murrica I've had lot's of "authentic" Mexican/everything south of the border before you hit a different continent, as well as plenty of Tex-Mex. Most Indian food in the US is North Indian, and mostly frequented by Indians, if you live anywhere near an Intel. My eye doctor recently recommended me a South Indian restaurant that she said tasted exactly like what she grew up with, and it was really cheap and filling, but not as good as the North Indian places that catered to white people. All and all, Indian blows Mexican out of the water, but I enjoy both immensely, every now and again.

so your favorite is North Indian places that cater to white people?

Indian, easy. There is a reason Mexican is relegated to low cost, quick meals

Not true. That's only antojitos you're referring to. That's like saying Indian food is just cheap Biryani that you get at hole in the walls

i like baja and oaxacan/south pac mexican the most.

I wish I could try all the varities with ease. Where I live there's a lot of good Mexican food but the menus are repetitive as fuck.

>> No.11500989

I love both but prefer Mexican, I find it to be more balanced.

Where Indian does better though, is better use of vegetables. Mexican food isn't as veggieless as say, Colombian food but I think it would be even better if it incorporated more vegetables.

I prefer North Indian from what I've had, but every place always seems to be much more expensive than the South Indian places, and give you white people spicy, even when every other person eating there is an uppity Indian.

I think these threads have bias of uninformed people comparing nice Indian restaurants that cater to white people versus mediocre quality street tacos, or worse, fake Mexican food

>authentic Indian food
Enjoy having fecal matter everywhere because the chef doesn't wipe his ass with toilet paper.

well I trust the westernized ones

>> No.11501497

you cannot find 'authentic' indian or mexican food outside of india or mexico so almost nobody here is qualified to reasonably answer this. indian and mexican food you can buy outside of their respective countries (and specifically in the west) is not authentic and is infinitely higher quality than the parasite infested dog slop served in third world shit holes

>Indian makes authentic Indian food
>moves to USA
>makes same food with same ingredients
>food is now inauthentic
I don't think my brain is large enough for this one
