A2 casein, friendly for most people, is in goat milk. A1 casein, problematic for most people, is in most cow's milk. But you can avoid the A1 casein problem somewhat if you ferment your cow's milk with kefir grains. I usually let the grains consume the milk to the point of surface mold forming before drinking the milk.
