I literally eat a pasta and rice-based meal every single day. I save money and stay skinny with minimal effort. Also my meal is always incredibly satisfying

I mean keto feels like fasting in the first place, because it's basically the same thing, except you still get to ingest micronutrients. Carbs result in the release of insulin which puts your body into an anabolic state, i.e. a constructive state which causes you to accumulate fat and feel sluggish as shit. Having low blood glucose and low insulin levels puts you into a catabolic state where your body has to breakdown fat (from any source, yes including your body fat) to provide energy. This metabolic state directly targets your fat; anabolism on the other hand forces your body to use glucose for fuel. This isn't rocket science anon.
