It's nothing like a burger. It's a chopped raw steak salad. If a restaurant serves tartare, they're not taking any chances and they're using the freshest meat possible. No worms People don't really even glorify it. It's one of those things that sounds gross to most people, but is good if you actually give it a shot. I know you're a huge pleb and just trying to bait people but come on, now.

It still is so weird to me. I grew up eating raw meat here and there, knacking on raw sausage before cooking it stuff like that.
I only learnt that people were scared of it 2 years ago on the internet. I understand that you would be wary and be careful about the quality of the product, but raw meat, eggs and fish is fucking great other than that. I never had any problem with that. Anglos are scared of raw meat but love sushi so what gives?

Weird part is that the people with the absolute highest food safety standards (northern europeans, west europeans, USA-ians) seem to be the most scared of eating raw food.
