I used to invest a lot in coffee, have a french press, aeropress, espresso pot, always drink black or in keto mix. I bought instant while traveling and it's just too convenient, cheap, and far passing for keto shakes. I keep nice coffee but I rarely bother anymore when I could just stir some instant into calories.

Strange, I'll take a caffeine pill tmro morning and play some video games and see how it makes me feel. I can drink soda with caffeine and not get the upset feeling that coffee gives me. Soda is a lot lower in caffeine, so it might be a dosage issue. I think 25mg of caffeine is all that's needed every hour to get the beneficial effects from it, but a cup of coffee has around 100mg. And a can of soda has around 30mg. So maybe try smaller/weaker cups of coffee, or switch to tea which has about 50mg per cup.

I've also done pour-over.

I presently use K-cups because spending 10-20 minutes a day on coffee is tiresome (particularly with that kind of bullshit hand-grinder).

Sometimes Instant is a godsend when your in a rush. A lot of restaurant coffee near me is terrible. The coffee at my work place is piss poor and is expensive to boot. Ironically, the coffee they get, the delivery van says "the worlds best coffee", fuck that. Should be "worlds worst"

Tried it at work, a coworker brought some in. Found at the local supermercado on good sales. It's made with a small amount of caramelized sugar, doesn't taste sweet but it mellows the flavoring. my rationale is that it makes sense to drink instant-coffee from countries where instant-coffee is predominant. Americans have never been instant-coffee-lovers, we treat it as an ugly convenience product. But if half the coffee consumed in your country came in instant form, you'd want to drink good instant coffee, not garbage, right?
