Early 2000s Purdue University dining halls used to have AYCE fried ravioli.

I miss that so much.

These go hand in hand since the inventor was drunk when he made it.

I worked in a hotel that served these in all outlets.

Everyone loved them. Servers just started recommending them above everything else regardless of where the client came from or how old they were. We used herb breading but the tomato sauce was pretty simple because the ravioli were heavily seasoned and the cheese filling was relatively sweet.

I pity the pleb who doesn't understand the subtleties and beauty of what is probably the greatest dish ever made, which we call toasted ravioli. Will someone get this hot head outta here please.

I have a bar not far from my house that makes these and they are absolutely perfect.

>Drunk
>Making a roux to go in my potato soup
>Asshole roommate somehow managed to switch the lids for my containers of confectioner's sugar and flour
>Dump some of it in the melted butter in my pot before realizing the mistake
>Really don't want to start over
>Add the flour I meant to use to the butter-and-sugar junk
>Continue as normal
>My potato soup has magically acquired a more savory character as a result, even without adding bacon

I wish I lived with that dude again. His stupid fucking antics made me learn a lot about just applying the Bob Ross "happy little accidents" attitude to cooking.
