>About to prepare pork for dinner and realize I ran out of MSG
>Notice they don't have any no frills plain ol MSG
>Ask the manager if they have more somewhere, or if I'm maybe just missing it on the shelf
>"Oh, Anon. We stopped selling that. It's bad for your health, so we removed them from our inventory. You should read up on it!"
>Don't feel like fucking arguing, I just want to cook
>Go back to the spices shelf, grab the overpriced "Accent" seasoning, a box of Sazon, and the no-brand "Meat tenderizer" seasoning
>Just for the fuck of it, grab a bag of Doritos as well
>Check out with literally just this
>Manager is the one ringing me up
>He doesn't even realize

What will it take for people to stop being retarded and stop making MSG into a food boogeyman? If I wasn't in such a hurry I'd just have gone to a different store, but guess I'll just settle for the marked up Accent (they're brilliant for selling their product to morons, by the way).

I don't know of msg is as bad for us as it's been reported to be. I do know that people who say things like you're quoting have no fucking clue what science actually is or how to apply it to their decision making.

So I'm on your side on this. Also the asians aren't all dead so clearly it's not immediately a threat.

It's literally just old ass 80's racism that will never go away.
>>11329694
Of course it's fucking not.
>anon don't put MSG on my food it gives me headaches!
>put Accent on it
>they have no fucking idea
>completely fine afterwards
>>11329671
Go to the asian market and buy a big fuck off bag of it and never worry about it again.

All of the products I actually purchased have msg in them; in fact a lot of premade seasonings and packaged foods have msg in them but just don't advertise it vividly on the packaging so most people have no clue. They just have alarm bells ringing when they hear "msg."

>>11329777
Yeah, I should just get a big bag and not worry. It's funny because I pretty much never tell anyone I use MSG in my cooking, but if they see it in my cabinet they start complaining.

i bet they sell cigarettes or at least alcohol, i am 100% sure that these have killed way more people than MSG.

You should be quite proud about supporting the use of a dangerous carcinogen because you're too lazy to season food. There's a special place in hell for you and your ilk.

I do season my food though. MSG is one of the many seasonings I use in my cooking. You almost certainly do as well without realizing it. Hope you don't use mushrooms, tomatoes, cheese, seaweed, etc. in any of your meals!

No, he lost all his teeth because his mean owner fed him MSG seasoned bananas

Just sent a link to this post to PETA. Feeding innocent animals MSG necessitates severe punishment.
