Grilled cheese and tomato soup is comfy. Here's a recipe: Get two tablespoons of butter, let them get soft and easy to spread. Get a pan out and warm it over medium heat with a oil or butter (but not the softened butter). Put one tablespoon each of the soft butter onto two bread slices. Get some cheese, I think any kind works but cheddar is pretty good. Put one slice of bread onto the pan, with the buttered side on the pan. Then put the cheese onto the bread. Add a little bit of spice if you want. Oregano, pepper, basil, or sage are nice. Garlic or onion powder also work. Put the other slice of bread on the sandwich, butter side facing up. Once the cheese looks melted, flip the sandwich over with a spatula and let it toast. Now here's the tomato soup recipe: Two large tomatoes, a small onion (yellow, chives, ramps all work), some garlic, broth of you choice, and of you like: two more tablespoons of butter for creaminess. Add butter to a pot on low heat and let it melt. Either finely chop the tomatoes or carefully process them (make sure it's not mush) and then put them into the pot. Dice the onion and a little bit of garlic and add those in, too. Add the broth, but not too much that it's now a broth soup instead of a tomato soup. Stir on low or medium-low heat until desired thickness. Sometimes carrots are nice in the mix.

It's comfort food. Rain makes a cozy atmosphere for comfort food. Things like soups, teas, sloppy joes, meatloaf, and the like. Sort of like sick day food, but not limited to things a sick person shouldn't eat.

Take some raw bulgur wheat (unsoaked) and fry it in (sunflower) oil with a splash of flavour (maybe your favourite sauce, some herbs and spices, or even some irn bru). Fry some tiny chunks of fatty steak until they're really crispy and add to the bulgur wheat.
Crispy and nice.
