Would any of you niggas buy ostrich or emu eggs at the farmers market?

>> No.11282230

I'd love to try an ostrich egg

Fock that, I want cassowary eggs.
Crunch and munch

>> No.11282241

I'd try to incubate the egg and have a pet emu/ostrich

>> No.11282266

>>11282230
I think I could afford to make a yuge batch of scrambled eggs and give a ice cream scoop-sized sample to curious niggas until I made some loyal customers.

Why the lel would I sell fertile eggs

Not only is it a rare commodity, one emu egg is the equivalent of a dozen chicken eggs.

>> No.11282650

>>11282531
I can get 60 chicken eggs for two dollary doos. There's no value angle to this. I would buy one just to try it though.

>> No.11282658

>>11282531
that's only slightly more reasonable.

i'm better off raising an emu as a fucking service animal for that price.

>> No.11282672

>>11282228
Id buy one to try it fried, if it wasnt gross id buy a second to make a huge scotch egg, then id never buy another one

It was easy to misinterpret your post as you were being vague.

But I guess if I saw you selling these, my only question would be, how big of an omelette can I make with just one?

>> No.11282695

I'd probably buy one of each just for the novelty of trying it. For those anons that have had either, is there a substantial difference in taste/texture compared to regular old chicken eggs?

>> No.11282703

>>11282228
A few years back some friends of mine and I went in together on an ostrich egg. It was $25 and tasted the same as a regular chicken egg. It was fun up until we actually ate it. I've spent $5 in worse ways.

So I can make a kickass variation of balut? They sell chicken and duck both. I imagine it'd be difficult to do with an ostrich egg. You'd have to slow cook the shit out of it to prevent it from going rubbery.
